all the complete pumps will physically bolt on to the block, but the gears dont always interchange due to small changes in the cases.
Have cross-referenced part numbers in ToyoDIY but I'm still not sure. . .
I have a 7/1988 build JDM AE92 FX-GT < early 7-rib big-port > and want to upgrade to later sine-wave oil-pump gearset.
1. Can I retro-fit a post 5/1989 < Smallport > 4AGE oil pump to a 7/1988 < Bigport > block?
And following on;
2. Will this TODA gearset fit my BigPort Oil Pump casing or will I have to replace it with one from a later < post 5/1989 > 4AGE?

Terry is right, you can't fit the TODA gears in what you have. The choice of pumps is the ones from the Silvertop 20V engines. This is what I offer on my site:
I now have the TODA gears in stock too, but you don't need these if you're not going over 9000 revs.
