    Default Fuel reg query

I have just purcahsed a genuine SARD fuel pressure regulator but it came with no fitting instructions so i'm a little unsure which way the fuel lines go.

I'm guessing the line from the fuel pump goes into the bottom of the reg and then exits the side, then into the end of the fuel rail closest to the fire wall(GZE fuel rail).
Now i have seen some cars without the vacuum line on top connected so does it need to be connected?

Lastly, is the reg on the end needed?

    Any answers appreciated, cheers.

It might pay to check out the Sard info to be sure, but the FPR usually goes after the fuel rail. So from your fuel pump, run it directly to the rail, at the firewall end (the big thing on that end is a pulsation dampener, I've had no problems after ditching that). at the other end of the rail sits the factory FPR (the tapped hole is the feed for the cold start injector, it can be blocked)

Since your aftermarket one wont fit there, you need to find/make a fitting to bolt to the rail that you can run a hose from. This hose then goes to your Sard FPR. The outlet from your FPR goes back to your tank/surge tank.

Connect the vacuum line to manifold pressure.

If it's all a bit much of a headfuck, just use the stock FPR, unless you are making relly silly power this will work fine.
