    Default AE86 Strut Brake Options (thats not rx7)

    Hey all,
    This is my first post! Stoked to be apart of the community.

    So bought a set of Ae86 Struts for my Ke70 so I could run better shocks and of course better brakes.
    The struts don't have any brakes or rotors so i have been looking into some options.
    The car won't be raced/drifted, i just want brakes to bring it up to 21st centre standards. plus it has a 4age so it's no old grandma car.

    -I don't want to go the xr7 4 pot calliper option because 1. it sounds over kill for a street car 2. it limits wheel option because callipers hit the spokes.
    -Willowoods are to expensive.

    I saw this post by Bozu (Kevin) selling some $220 adapter brackets that fits 1990s Mr2 twin pot callipers with mr2 rotors re-drilled to bolt on the the ae86 hubs

    These brackets with the mr2 set up sound great but i can't get on to Kevin he hasn't been on online since july.
    Has anyone run the mr2 calliper set up, or know anywhere selling adapter brackets?

    Anyone have any other brake adapter brackets setups out there that;
    -aren't over kill or expensive
    -have no wheel offset clearance issues

    or would it be easier to just source some ae86 brakes, rotors and good pads?

    Thanks in advance
    Wil

    Jdm caliper rebuilt with fresh pistons, grease and seals, quality pads, jdm vented disk.
    That will be more than capable. What let's the combination down is poor pad selection and fluid. Disks are consumables where money can be better directed to pads.
