Is this AE86 worth buying?

Not sure if this is the best place in the forum to ask, but I couldn't find anywhere else. I'm looking at possibly purchasing this 86: He wants 7k, but I'd try and get it for 5.5-6k. It's the cleanest 86 I've ever seen for sale around me. Is it worth it? Why or why not? Also, any major red flags or anything of the sort?

Don-t be fooled by a respray and some brand new cheapie mags, it could be someones pride and joy, or it could be a right shitter with pretty paint. Take it for a long drive, and go by a body shop and ask about the work on the body. Take it by a mechanic and ask about the engine.

Blows my mind if he knew about samq why he cut the firewall and didnt use the right sam q kit. Could be an illegal mod, in my state your car is a throw away if you cut the firewall.

Looks pretty cool and if it was in Australia, be looking at a fair higher asking price.
On another note, I have never seen an early model trueno run free bumper until now.

Hes just put early lights instead of proper kouki lights that wrap around...can sorta see the cut outs for them
