I've been lurking on this forum for a while now but haven't actually had an AE86... Until now. This finally arrived in Canberra for me a few weeks back.

I actually bought in December 2016 (thanks Troy from Iron Chef Imports). It took a while to get to me because it needed some parts for compliance (thanks Jack at Top Secret Imports). It had this awesome JDM-spec exhaust which was being held together by an Asahi can and a few other things that needed doing.

Unfortunately the car carrier company cracked the front bumper somewhere between Sydney and Canberra but they're replacing and paying for paint under insurance, so that's ok.

I finally got the time to work on the car this weekend. I replaced the whitelines with the correct redlines, and swapped out the bride bucket seat for an OEM GT Apex.

The rear axle was also making an awful noise (the main reason it got transported from Sydney to Canberra, rather than driven) so that's now out getting the crown wheel and pinion replaced, and the open centre swapped for a new OS Giken LSD. Looking forward to getting that back, bolting it back in and driving!
