    What compresion should i expect to get on a 20v 4age?

    blacktop or silvertop. completely stock? silvertops have 10.5:1 blacktops have 11:1

    i got in the 220's from memory

    shouldnt be a HUGE deal just so long as they are all within a couple of points

    180psi-200psi is very good and under is shit mine is 160psi so im just doing a crazy bulid

    sorr probably should have read it better, no idea about 20v comp readings

    Compression numbers shouldn't be a good way of judging whether a motor is healthy or not unless it's completely standard. Going to more aggressive camshafts will affect the compression readings.

    As long as the numbers are all within 5% (?) of each other, it should be fine.


    Edit: Starter motor speed will also effect results.

    cant rely on compression test numbers. using one tester i got 225psi across all four and using another i got 165psi. it gave roughly the same compression through all four but unless your using multiple testers and finding the average you cant rely on the test numbers much.
