    Default Falcon spring rate?

    Hi
    Trying to find out what spring rate the Falcon springs in the back of me keto are.
    Pretty bloody stiff I know that much. Not sure exactly which Falcon they came from. Just ruff idea would be nice.

    would depend on the model but i have heard au's are 6kg ish

    Also depends on how short they are. Usually around the 5kg/mm.

    Just remember you can hide shit springs with good shocks but not the other way around, so make you you have a decent shock to match with them.. Anything is better then stock.

    true ^. i had 230mmish? falcon's in the back of my old ke70 sedan with stock shocks (probably 20y.o) for awhile.
    Man, that f**king sucked..

    Didn’t realize rate was proportionate to height.

    5 or 6 sounds good. Thought it might have been more.

    Running sierra shocks. Good so far.

    yeah it effects kg rate by how many coils you cut off not sure how to calculate but i think someone tried to make some formula of calculation to roughly show you how, but was most likely lost on old forums

    cutting a falcon spring in half will give you approximately 6kg

    Mine are cut to 225mm sits perfect, Also handles perfect with 8kg coilovers in the front. Awsome balance.
