Never been a real fan of rota's on ol school cars. I reckon the sportmax 002's are the way to go, cheap + dish = win.
Rota's are cast alloy wheels so the chunkier ones should be fine. But the company does copy a few other designs out there from more reputable companies. The problem lies when they copy a "light weight" wheel. Light weight wheels generally have less metal in them, but companies like Rays use forged metal which is significantly stronger than cast alloy, so they can afford to shave the weight down and still retain the strength of the wheel. It's when a company copies the same physical dimensions of the wheels and use cast alloy that problems will occur. But rota rb's are incredibly chunky and plenty of guys use them so they're tried and tested.

Insert witty comment here....
They make good quality rims in great offsets and sizes cheap. Some JDM loverz can't handle that, so they spread internet rumors about them.
No, they havent. They have a little thing called JDM elitism.

i used to care about this shit, but don't anymore.
if you're running a risk of hitting your wheels and don't want to fork $400+ per wheel, than why not go for it...
but if you want to look legit and have the cash to back it up, than go for the real deal items.
