    Default Rota wheels..??

    Hi,

Iv been looking at the rota wheels available at otomoto but i have heard some terrible stories and seen a few pics of the rims breaking...and i mean full spokes snapping off!

Just wondering if they are a quality wheel or any particular bad models to look out for??

    cheers

alot of people are going to throw all the rumours at you in this thread. josh young and sam in the red kaizen hachi's have been using them for ages and they have never had a problem. even after josh's studs snapped and had the wheel come off twice its still fine.

sure there are def better wheels out there but they seem to be ok

cool...i was aware they were using them and its good to know they hold up well with the flogging they get....

Obviously the pics iv seen need to be in line with the circumstance....ie.may of hit a gutter a 60km etc...a lot of nay-sayers leave out info like that.

those wheels in particular are used everywhere.... as said, josh, sam... also beau yates, and half a dozen cars in the states europe andireland for the highend drifting.

im biased cos i got them but yeah u have no worries wit this model suffering failure...

    + 1.. i change josh's and a few other drifter's rota wheels... they look
too have taken beatings.. but are still straight! if they do Brake
    It's a cheap wheel too re-place..

and they profer rota wheels over jap wheels. so...?
