JDM rotors are vented, that's the difference between them and ADM rotors.

You can get slotted rotors for them too.

Don't bother with drilled rotors if its going to cost you any more, drilling usually just makes the rotor stress crack.

I have slotted and drilled rotors but that is only because they were 1/3 the price of any just slotted rotor I could find.

Watch out with the clutch fan, you NEED a RWD pump to run one.

    Good point Golberg.

Daniel, if you are unsure of the difference between water pump types, I have several of each here & can show you next time you drop in.

    UPDATE!!!!
ok so i finally have new springs ... thanks to skit ... we think they are about 5kg springs, any way i just put the fronts in about 15min ago ... took about 40 min per side using the worlds crappiest tools... random sockets, home made spring clamps, vice grips and a random piece of RHS ( rolled hollow section)
they make the car sit just a little bit higher than the old cut celica springs but thats fine by me because these are legal
i was surprised that the ae86 springs went onto the celica struts as easy as they did ... so anyone who wants to do the brake upgrade for celica rotors , just grab the whole strut ... the 86 springs are a straight fit.

i also picked up some like new rear shocks ... (fitted but never driven on) which i will be fitting tomorrow along with the springs to match the front. and finally a good condition ae86 radiator it appears to have been reconditioned recently and was fresh out of steroidchickens new coupe.

    UPDATE!!!
today i replaced the rear springs with the set to match the new fronts i got... in doing this i found they were also cut springs ... so who wants a full set of cut springs... Cheap!

anyway while i was at it i replaced the rear shocks that i badly needed to seeing how the thread on the top was fucked and wasn't repairable. so i now have some nice suzuki short stroke ones ... the rear end is now really stiff and low ... i deem it to be awesome!
i have also taken my cluster out as i have a jdm one on the way
