    Default pilot bearing instal

    hey
im just wondering how you instal the pilot bearing between engine and gearbox. its way to tight to just push or tap in and ive tried freezing it but it still wont go in. any one else had this problem?

use the old one and line it up on the new one and use it as a dolly sort of thing. or use a block of wood.it will need persuasion with a hammer.just never hammer directly onto the new bearing obviously otherwise u will kill it.

it takes time but it will fit. unless u have the wrong bearing.

I installed mine last week into 20V Flywheel, used a socket that fitted the outside of the bearing and a hammer, went in quite easliy.

Bearing should measure 28mm OD, 12mm ID and 8mm Deep with part no. similar to NSK 6001V
