    Sam, that probably has more to do with my age, I guess on average I'm probably twice as old as the average AE86DC'er.

    yeah and your workshop experience. I guess the same goes for me to a lesser extent, hence why I changed my user description under my name on the left hand side for comic value.

    Actually Sam, I just got a long overdue addition to the workshop. For years I've been using other peoples Lathes/mills etc, I just got my self a nice Hercus lathe with milling attachments etc etc, it's a real beauty :-)

    I absolutely love fabrication, back when I first become an apprentice mechanic I actually tried to get a fitting and turning apprenticeship.

    made between 1952 and 54! I just finished putting it back together after I gave it a bit of a reco, I just need to rig up a custom forward reverse switch with an emergency stop.

    Thanks for the compliment, my lathe info will be on there soon enough too.

    either of you toyota nerds know the part numbers for silvertop 4age conrod bearings, main bearings, piston rings, and seals and whether or not sprint auto parts will be able to supply them?
