    Red face Grimace is dead, Long Live King Kong!

    well its time i did a build up thread for Grimace the second, most of the mods have remained the same as i just swapped over all the goodies from the old shell into the new shell.
    buttt, im going in a new direction for her this time, more pics up when i get the chance and cbf!

    its been a while since the last update. mainly cause im lazy and cbf updating lol

    anywho... just received some more goodies for the car today
    got my turbo kit in from "skit", very happy with it and cant wait to put it on!
    sadly its going to be a while untill its on

    first i have to rebuild the NA 4age ive got under the house to handle some boost, so im thinking just going supercharged pistons and conrods... does anyone know the kind of power they can handle? and how much is the compression lowered by just going the ZE pistons and conrods as apposed to the NA ones? :s
    just got a lil t25g for the moment, but later wouldnt mind upgrading to some thing bigger


    and how she currently sits! just waiting on paint to come in and then ill put some effort into cleaner her up. but for now... itll do!

    theres alot planned for the second version of grimace.
    atm whats for her is

    rebuild NA engine to handle decent boost
    whack turbo kit on
    injectors
    adaptronic ecu
    new exhaust

    4a - w5* bellhousing
    w5*gearbox
    tarago diff
    one piece tail shaft


    and the plan is to have the car off the road for as little as possible while i do all this :o so slowly bit by bit it will all get done! :o


    not only that, but i have to get around to cleaning her up first for a RWC and putting rego on her... FML i need a better paying job! :<

    yeah man do a GZE bottom end .. can handle WAY more power than that T25 will ever put out

    if the NA motor under your house is a smallport, then it already has the same rods as an ae92 gze which are SUPER strong, you will never break them. then all you need is some
    AE92 gze pistons or AE101 gze pistons, the latter are better (as they have a higher compression of 8.9:1 over 8:1). that said, nothing wrong with the lower comp ones either

    everything you have listed above sounds good to me, the only thing you might outgrow is the turbo, but only time will tell

    nah, its a big port
    so ive got to replace the rods as well i guess, sux2bme
    are the conrods the came lenght? as in, the only thing that changes the comp slightly is the design of the piston and not a slightly longer conrod?

    yea, i probably will outgrow the t25. but for now its more then enough just doubling my power. should be some fun times ahead!
    and now im just waiting on tax return so i can get that damn ecu! >.<
