Actually bought it from the US.

Don't really have much info on it, but it seems an interesting concept.

    indeed... very interesting.
I've seen people do a 3sgte throttle body mod, doesnt require anywhere near as much fab work.

When you start looking for an LSD for that F series, may i recommend a Detroit Trutrac torsen centre.

Farken cheap considering the exchange rate. I have the same centre to go into my volvo rear end.

If it wasnt late on a school night i wouldve probably hung around longer to look at all your toys

Yeah, I've got to return more money to the bank after buying my JZX110 before I can really do anything with this sadly. I realised just other day that I've owned this stupid thing for 3 years now and I haven't got much done on it in that time. I think once you enter the motor trade then suddenly it is a whole lot harder to motivate yourself to work on your own cars.

You wouldn't have actually seen anything anyway haha. This car and all my other associated crap is located at my other garage.

Ok, so I've mostly finished financially recovering from the purchase of my JZX110:

And I'm getting out of the automotive repairers trade at the end of this month, so this should result in some real progression on this car.

I've updated the initial threads with my full plans to date.

I ended up pulling down my 4AGZE and found it had broken rings and the bores were oversized. So I'm doing a full rebuild on that, I've sourced genuine Toyota 0.50mm oversized pistons and Matt(pen15) has got my block to overbore it for me.

I'm going to be rebuilding my W58 also alongside Matt's W55, I'll throw up some pics once I get everything in and start on that.

Well I wouldn't say it fits directly. Very close though, its a bit of a bitch to fit it in because it wants to overlap some of the existing lines (because the bends are marginally different in an 86) but it works and I've done it on 3 cars now.
Just pull the original 4mm return line out and put in the new 8mm feed. Then you use the original 6mm feed as the new return.

They're less than $100. I think I paid $70 trade for my last one at my local dealer.

Couple of photos, for those who are interested.

Very Jelly of the unmodified MX13 Diff - I've got one here that someone has attempted to cut the mounts off, and is missing all of the drum's and backing plates.

Going to have to run the RT142 Solid Axle Disc Setup with Internal Hand brake on mine.

Do you reckon you could check if 13" Wheels clear the stock Corona Drums?

    TY!

Indeed the standard drums do clear a 13" wheel:

    In other news,
I pulled apart Matt's (pen15) W55 today just to inspect the gears and insure everything is 100% for the rebuild. I'm rebuilding his W55 and my W58 at the same time:

Perhaps more interestingly a good mate of mine has been sitting on a brand new set (now discontinued) of Greddy Type S Coilovers along with the matching electronic dampener control. He has agreed to sell them to me. So that'll be the start of my suspension setup.

Just did a full vehicle history check for the fun of it.

Found out that it was first registered in NSW in 1990 (So it must have been an interstate car before that)

Get this, in the time its been in NSW its had 14 different owners.

I've owned it for 4 years, so the 19 year period between 1990 and 2009 (when I bought it) its had 13 owners. Thats a new owner every 17 months!

    This car is a whore!
