how come the 3s gets chosen over the 1g most of the time ?

is the 1g just bad in a hachi ? also how come people havent tried to put v8s in there hachis wouldnt that make some super power ?

coz 1g's are long and heavy as shit. they are old nuggety motors which turn the ae86 into a lead tipped arrow.
most of the weight hangs in front of the front wheels ruining the natural balance the ae86 has.

i did mention 1g's are shit? coz they are, your better off putting the 1uz in there than a 1g engine. at least the 1uz is all alloy and can make a shit load of power.

never heard of josh young with the 1uz in his drift car?

if you want power or turbo your better off turbocharging a GZE or something you will get just as much power and much better powerband.

3s is lighter and alot better power to wieght than a 1g + the 3s is alot better motor (i think) and there is a few 1uz hatchi's around you have to remeber tho these cars are known for there balance thats why they make such brilliant drifters also they weigh about a ton give or take so putting v8s or 3s motors takes some doing to get it right (if you want a good drifter that is) you have to cut a massive hole in the fire wall set the motor back as far as possible and as low as possible.

Try and say all that in one breath.
