Hi all

im at the stae where i can get my bottom end built and i was wondering who would be good to send it too? i ahve a few places suggested already (reflex automotive in camberfield has been mentioned a few times) but i was wanting to hear some thoughts from the melb boys

i found the avg price for a std 4age bigport rebuild around $2000...

i just need mine assembled and blanced and just the bottom end

Mine cost me 2000 which was engine from wreckers, full rebuild, skimmed bottom end and to take out and put new one in. Thats in geelong though

Go to CW engine services ain Ringwood. Got my blacktop bottom end rebuilt with new bearings and hastings crom rings all fully balanced for $1300. The thing is in my car and its been great. They have also built my full house turbo motor (16valve) Sean up there is a champ of a bloke too.

btw, cw's is in mitcham/also know as top torque cylinder heads - 98733800

Speed Works in ringwood - speak to tony. i have had stuff done there before i used cw's and its pricey but he get's it done quick and professionally. - 98760600

just go to footscray cylinder heads on barkleys st they do it there and it not 100 k away
