you best bet would be a custom made bar, i got one made for my M35 Stagea, cost me $700 in sydney, rated to 1500kg braked and 80kg on the ball.
Car - Toyota Celsior
motor / part in question - Towbar
problem - Cant find one
personal situation - Need to tow my sprinter
Who's using a Celsior or LS400 for towing? What did you do or where did you find a towbar? How strong is the towbar?
I need one asap.
Cheers Kaan

im driving down to sydney next weekend for WTAC, can you give me any names of places that are good?
no worries, it was this guy who built it.
1 man shop, does a good job.
Dont be concerned when you call the number you will be redirected, just note down the new number.
There is someone on rollaclub.com using a celsior to tow with, he's in Cairns though but might be worth asking on there. Actually I am 99% sure he is on here so I am surprised he hasn't commented.

nope stain tows with a celsior
im interested in how your m35 stag tows joel? i really had my heart set on one for a tow car awhile ago but they just got a really bad wrap as a tow car. breaking sub frame was the biggest thing
Hey Clay, i reckon its all BS, the tow bar has no solid link to the subframe at all... if you overloaded the downward force on the bar then it may have some affect... but even then, the shock/ spring is taking all the force.
I have heard of subframes cracking on M35's that havent had tow bars fitted. so i call BS untill i see my own crack.
I havent had a car on the back yet, im gonna make a custom trailer just to keep the weight down etc.
tows a box trailer fully loaded no worries, dont even know its there.
Ahhh Stain, thats it!
Yeah that's him, my hiace is only rated to 1.4T so can just legally tow my T18 with it.
