You can get really nasty plastic ones (rpm branded perhaps? Not sure) that I've seen used for driver training. But a good seat and seating position is worth a lot when it comes to driving. Can make it a lot easier to drive fast if you're comfortable.

Just remove the mesh from the base of the standard seat and voila, bucket seat.

No thanks man, think I will wait & have a look around for a decent side mounted seat, base mounts no good as they are too high for me, planning on running a full cage & helmet.

I got one from these guys for my passanger seat. Sits to high on rails. but floor mounted would be ok

They're NOT ADR approved. so if you crash into somebody. Your stuffed. May be able to get engineered but thats up to you.

Having said that, most Sparco seats aren't ADR apprived either (i should know as I'm having dramas getting it passed *^$W#!!!) but they are FIA Dated and stamped

A lot of the sparcos are not ADR approved but 4 models are. Of these 4 the sprint is the cheapest at around 400 new for the old model. The sprint 5 is not approved.
