ive order'd the exact same part number on the assumption that im getting the whole assembly...hasnt arrived yet so i cant confirm 100%
Hi,
Converting a FWD 100KW smallport 4A-GE to RWD format and don't like the shitty untidy remote themostat housing idea.
I've got a couple part numbers but all toyota could tell me was they're water pumps which was not helpful at all
The numbers I have are...
16110-19155
Which is apparently "complete 4A-GE" around $80.40 +GST according to the part numbers thread.
or
16100-19095
Which is apparently the entire waterpump assembly including thermostat housing etc (but no thermostat)
When the dude at Toyota ran the latter number he said it was around the $190 mark from memory.
Can someone please help as I don't wanna throw 190 bucks at them only to find it's no good to me as they are unable to re-imberse for the ordered in part.

Cool cool, let me know when you get it I'll have the motor out of my van by then i hope and will have started the other conversion shit by then like pedal assembly, gearbox, tailshaft, fuel system etc.. water pump can wait until last.
Corrected:
16110-19155
is the waterpump, probably just the front, maybe both halves. (Hard to see in diagram)
16100-19095
is the same waterpump, but you get the gasket kit also. You don't get the thermostat housing or the top outlet. Just the pump, gaskets, and O-rings.
If you look on the EPC the housings are shown, which causes confusion. But they are only shown as a dotted outline, not a solid line.

I got this one, contains what Jonny said. The gaskets are the proper metal gaskets and orings.
16268-16011 for the bypass pipe (i beleive rwd 4age), if not use 4ac and shorten, and if you wish make a groove for the oring to sit in (or silicone one end in).

Or just use RWD 4AC gear and save yourself a packet.
Or what Golberg said, just need to modify the 4ac pump a little to clear the 4age timing cover backing plate.
