Default 20 Valve Blacktop to RWD?

Does anyone know any good Mechanics in Sydney to do this conversion from FWD to RWD, and roughly the cost? I heard there was a bolt on part that bolts on the the engine that will convert it without needed mechanics to modify parts around.. T5 or something? Does anyone know anything about this?

I will be making a few 20v rwd kits in a few weeks. A few other guys on here can make the parts also. I don't think there is a commercially available kit in Australia.

Perhaps your t5 theory could be Techno Toy Tuning aka T3.

when you do a conversion you will rarely get/find a straight swap kit. Something new/changed always has to happen.

while I like the look of Jonny's conversion I disagree with this comment. To do it that way from what I take it you have to do the following to a bare head:

    - strip all parts off head,
    - take head off block
    - drill/machine channel/hole between ports at the back
    - drill and tap a blind threaded hole in the back of the head
    - source an 4age 16V rear outlet
    - modify rear outlet holes to be a little further apart
    - bolt up rear outlet
    - bolt up block off plate using one of the original holes and the newly threaded hole

I think thats it, Jonny tell me if I am wrong here and no disrespect intended.

otherwise you can just put a plate on with a machined external bypass and do it up, total tools needed one: a 12mm spanner. I admit it doesnt look as factory and I dont think what I do because I sell a bolt up part. I have known about this method for about a year now. Just my personal preference.

Something else, have you finished your top water pipes yet Jonny? I want to in the future send my customers to you as I dont want to make them anymore.
