Hey people, i have had my car for about 7 years now, i was goin to sell it nearly a year and a half ago, but decided to hold on to it. i thought i should show people what i have. i recently sold my VN SS so i thought i would spend a bit of money on making my car look the part, i haven't spent much money on the car over the last years, only servicing etc. anyways here are the specs:

1983 Toyota Sprinter AE86 LEVIN ADM
JDM 4AGE
Pod filter
2.5" exhaust
T50 Gearbox
Front disc brakes and drum brake rear end
Factory offset diff
Lowered Lovells front and rearsprings
Monroe GT Gas front and rear shocks
Standard adm interior


The car is pretty much stock standard but goes hard
This is me 2005 at kwinana motorplex it did high 15's


As much as i would like a 4AGZE in my car it will have to wait, the engine i have will do for time being. so its time to do some things to get this ride looking good as it is my daily, here is the latest pictures


Even though it looks pretty tidy, there is a bit of rust in usual spots and a few dents. but it still gets the looks a 86 should get i'd show pic's of the engine, but nothing special, just standard, if changes i will update

But finally i can spend some money on my car, so very soon the rust repair, panel work and a few other things ready to go to make the car look good, will be happening. it will take a bit of time but will happen, so i can't wait.

yeah when i bought it about 7 years ago i missed out on a 4AGZE, as i was selling a car at the time, but it sold before i sold my car, damn it, so i could not get the ZE, so i picked up this one. but still i very happy with it, GO PERTH

Was that a white GZE?

I remember going to look at one wid my bro..in my AE86 to see a white GZE.

Or it could have been that bronze harequin one back in the days also....ahh the old memories of OG Perth AE86's haha

it was white, with gold rims, meshies i think, it had a nice bark, had a bit done to it. was owned by i guy called josh whom i used to work with, the person who bought it sold it not long after. but was sold again before i knew about it

thanks Dom, yeah i thought better put her on. i finally going to give the car some attention i still have the rims, was goin to flare the guards before doin so, i dont want any rubbing on the guards thats all, it will happen very soon hopefully.

Well i got my car back on road yesterday as it was getting rust taken out and a few dents, its definately looking like work in progress haha



but anyways looking good so far, the inside doors and bottom of doors are up first-

as ya can see the black strips are off the sides now and will stay off, 20+ year old glue was sanded back to metal to get it off.

well so far anyways things are goin to plan, i'm very happy with the progress,
next week the front window will start as i have some rust at top of windscreen to take care of, and the bottom of the doors yet to be finished and still some more after that in near future. will keep ya posted.

The rims and tyres were fitted also over the weekend to the see how far guards need flaring, i thinking of getting the fibre glass flares as would be easier. so i got to get me some. if anyone can help me with that pm me

Nice, where'd ya get the rust repair done at? Pricey at all...I'm thinking I should get my car looked at soon.
