Letterbox grilles

hi guys.
searched forums but couldnt find anything on this so anyway.
i've got a couple grills that have gone misty and have heard u can get em to as good as new with a polish.
anyone know what polish and exactly what to do to apart from rub and rub and rub.

grit paper no.2000 or finer (use with water) and polish after = good as new.. i think there's an article about getting the shine back on plastic lamps...same method..

soapy water, good cloth and alot of hand power, applies to cleaning shit off wheels also.

if their 'misty' in the literal sense of the word, you need to take them apart and reseal them with black silicone, like you would with tail lights, to stop moisture getting in. May aswell do this and give them a good clean inside and out anyway.. no point doing it half assed
