Is converting to hall effect a possibility? People seem to have good luck with that. Personally, my CAS on my 20V is working just fine with an aftermarket ECU.

its a common problem with haltech ecus, i do think that it would have to go hall effect to output a digital signal but not sure how to do it?

Isn't that the tuner's job, not yours?
Give me a few hours and I'll dig up the info you need.

halleffect/magnets, youll be fine.
you just have to machine up a aluminium disk that you can put the magnets in and bolt that disk to your crank pulley (or fly wheel, cam gear) and make a bracket for the hall effect sensor..

You want to do the below outside of the haltech right?

There's this: (the VRin circuit at the bottom):

and this: (might be the same circuit, dunno, haven't looked hard enough).

There's another circuit using LM1815 but I can't find the damn thing.

There's this using the LM1815.

The circuit board and components are here:

OR, you could just rewire the CAS to haltech documentation.

I had so many problems using the same sensor and ecu as you, the reluctor box fixed them for me (mine were scattering of signals during cranking)
have you tried adjusting the different levels of filtering on the reluctor adaptor?
or removing the unused home pickup in the factory CAS which can sometimes cause interference.
