Hey guys,

Iam getting to the final stage of getting my R31 rear end conversion finalised.

But, iam having trouble (very frustrated, ready to throw spanners at things!:shout::shout:) with the handbrake cables.

I was told a while ago that you can use the standard R31 cables, but they are nowhere near long enough and have differant fittings/mounts etc.....
Am i doing something wrong? Do I need certain cables (ie 2 left or 2 right side cables etc....) Or do i need a set of JDM AE86 Disc h/brake cables? Same connections to the caliper I believe..........

So, Iam wondering what other people have done? What cables used?
Do I have to get custom cables made up?

Any info is much apprieciated......:)

(Please save me from Spanner rage) :hehe::hehe:

Regards,
JoJo

Bump

I know this conversion has been done by many people on here, even if you use the R31 calipers on a hilux diff etc, the info would really help me out.

Thanks guys

drive line place called kcdr in arndell park.. I gave him my r31 lines and ae86 lines and he matched up the lines to suit the ae86 mounts
