Hey just looking for some info on what cars that came equip'd with a W5X gearbox and had a 4.3 diff ratio stock?

Released in Aus, if there is any that were....

Or if anyone that reads this has a speedo drive that came from a car with said ratio they want to sell let me know.

Cheers
Niz

(Google wasn't as helpful as I imagined)

I recon you're best off looking at the 2wd hilux's if your going to find the right speedo gear for a 4.3, they're more likely to have a 4.3 than any sedan in a wrecking yard etc.

They usually run either a W56 or a W59.

What year hiluxs?

The ones with 22r's?

I need a 4.1 rear diff'd W box Speedo drive.

Yeah, 88-97 model as well as 97-03's.

A manual RN85 or RN90 should have a 4.1 and subsequently the correct speedo gear too.

For a 4.3 Actually, find yourself an Australian MA70 speedo drive.

EDIT - but it must be out of one before 08/1989

Yeah, found that the G295 diffs have the 4.1:1's just need to find which hiluxs have the W56 boxes.

Obviously they will be 2wd like you said, 4wd have really high ratios. Should have something that lets me know its a W box on the build plate i would have thought?
