how much do you have to stand 86/t-18 brakes are slightly larger and can be done on the cheap, or if you're able to spend a few hundred you can run an rx7 brake setup on 86 struts, ra60 brakes and xt130 twin pots, all depends how much you wanna spend, what you'll use the car for etc

rx7 four spot caliper upgrade is very good.

You need the rx7 calipers, an adaptor bracket, and larger discs. Also you might want to upgrade the master cylinder to a r32 skyline one.

The car is only going to be used on the track for drifting i was thinking of using the xt130 brakes. Has anyone used this set up before if so is it an easy upgrade to fit yourself ????

well it's changing over a macpherson strut so yeah, it's pretty straight forward, pretty good upgrade for the price

Make sure you get the lower control arms for more camber.

Can get from wreakers for cheap or pick a apart for even cheaper.

RA60 brakes are a very good upgrade for the money, it's 'reasonably' bolt in. Be prepared to run longer control arms (XT130) to offset the track loss due to the steering arm design and run 14" wheels to clear the brakes though.
