Just putting new wheel bearings on while im doing my front suspension.

Is there specific wheel bearing grease or will normal grease from a gun be ok? (stuff used on grease nipples on machinery)

Cheers

You do realise you can buy "wheel bearing grease"???

Maybe other stuff is fine but I'd prefer to use something intended for the purpose? I dunno, that's just me.

I use Timkin Hi-temp bearing grease.... can buy it from any CBC store... black container with orange lid, grease is a purple-ey colour... always used it, always will.

And you really need to pack grease into wheel bearings. Dont just give it a smear around the rollers and throw it in. You need to spend a bit of time "pressing" it into the gap around every roller, so the whole thing is chock a block with grease. For me it takes a while and gets very messy, but other smarter people probably know a better way to do it.
