So some may know i just picked up a cresta.

The handbrake is kinda weird, its what some mercs have. I have an photo below with labels of how it works.

My question is.. How hard would it be to convert it to a 'normal' handbrake? Because i couldnt see this working anymore when i convert it to manual

it would be pretty easy.

find Mx73 cressida
remove handbrake cables, center concile, handbrake its self.
go to cresta, remove same items
put mx73 cressida gear into cresta
win.

you might have to cut the hole for the bottom of the hand brake to go thru but if your running an F serise with IRS chances are it should mostly bolt up/

humm... im gussing you got the white one off ebay?

71 will make life easyer, the 81 is abit harder, espically getting the clutch and brake pedals.
