Car - ae86
motor - 4age
use - daily/ track
problem - stretched hand brake cable , cannot get the rear to lock in the dry .
occurs/started when -
personal situation - could do with a better paying job .. :hehe:
ok so .. as above my handbrake cable i believe is stretched . Have replace the drum shoe , machine the drums and also installed in new slave cylinders. items on both side has been replaced .. i have also adjusted the brakes so that they scrub alittle bit when spinning the drums freehand ..
hand brake locks up in the wet i found out the other day . But in the dry it only slows the car down ... handbrake does work when parking . so im guessing its the handbrake cable that is stretched and wont let me lock up in the dry .
ive had a look at taking it out but i cant seem for the life of me take the damn thing out .. what tool do you guys use to take it out without hacking it . or is there a method ?
