are s-series diffs on stock sprinters lockable? i thought they wernt but noticed someone selling an s-series locked.

275amps will lock pretty much anything........

you've shown a brogy but yeah, s seires have inspection holes you just have to fit the end of ya welder in em, get it in there nice and deep like, with full penetration of that weld

You can tell just by looking?

It's a toyota T series :DD

I had an s series but i can't remember if the centre was too closed up to get at. :(

That's a damn hot weld.

I give the gears a bit of a bake with the oxy before I weld them too. I have done a few like this now and they are in cars that see both track and street work. They last like champions. The other side is plated the same way.
Axles are the weakest link by a long shot.

S series is harder to get at than T series (shown in photo above) but it sure can be done. I've welded/used plenty.
