did it the other day.
Balljoint- take off the circlip what is on the topside of the control arm, screw driver working it around did id. then bash it out. hitting the threaded side on the ground, when u hit it hard enough it will come out. then throw it away
Bush- put a bolt though it, with a washer similar diameter to the bush on it, put a nut on the other side to stop the bolt from flying out (u will see what i mean) and smack it with a hammer. put in on a lil ledge and stand on the bigger half of it. again when u hit it hard enough it will come out
Then get new ones pressed in.

burning wont work.. they both have metal holding them inplace.. so it will just fuck the rubber out and make it harder to get out after.

I took my LCA to a workshop to have my balljoint changed, he didn't even bother with a press, just removed the circlip, then tapped them in and out with a normal hammer. He'd obviously had some experience in it, didn't take him long at all, but should be worth a try.

I use a small holesaw on a drill to remove the bushes, works like a charm.
Balljoints can be a bit stubborn to remove from time to time, hammer could work although i've never tried it.

i set them on fire and let them melt out.. then put a hacksaw blade through and cut a slit in the outer metal casing.. then heat it a little then hit it with a pin punch.. out it came... holesaw idea sounds good!
