Car: Jap AE86

Problem: Rooted LCA ball joints.

Just had my car up on my mates hoist, and my LCA ball joints have a shitload of play in them. Looking at rebuilding them, with new bushes and ball joints.

I have access to a press, so I can rebuild them myself. Just need to know where I can get the ball joints and bushes? Anyone know part numbers etc etc?

Is there any difference between ADM and JDM LCA's?

parts are the same and any decent parts store can supply them. even pedders and most suspension shops can get them easily enough.

you should be able to replace them if you have a press. they are fairly straight forward. just a couple things to note.
1. make sure to take the circlip out holding the balljoint in otherwise you wont get very far
2. make sure to use some sort of reinforcement around the tube on the underside of the lca, so that when you press the bush out you dont crush the lca
