Yeah that's what I'd like to see Leo, I'm pretty sure it was never an option too. As far as I know the MA61 front is longer and wouldn't be a direct bolt accross affair. In the last 25 years though in all the countries the cars went I'm sure someone has built one though.

What's wrong with them? I doubt I would end up doing it, my AE70 Sprinter project will soak up enough money and time. Just interested to see one as I recon it would look hot.

Nothing is wrong with them.. I actually have one.

MA61 front is longer, same as MZ1x Soarer. JDM Version Celica/supra has the 'supra' front, but I'm not sure if they are longer like the ADM version.

the jdm has a 2.8 six in it so i would guess it would be longer maybe?

The whole demension of the MA is larger than the RA, You cant use a RA hatch on an MA, It makes you wonder why they did it like this.

everything behind the fire wall is the same, a Ra60 hatch can and does fit a MA61, no differance.

the front of the supra (celica XX ma61, ga61) is from what i hear 4inches longer to fit the 5mge and 1gge (2.8 and 2.0 6 cyl motors)

theres been a few done, search www.celicasupra.com and www.celica-gts.com (i think??) for pictures, theres also been a few done in australia, maybe search toymods.net as i saw a pic of one done a few years ago.

the pannels will go on but you have to make new mounts for headlights, grill, bumper... etc...

Nope, One of our customers has a TTA MA61 that required panels after some damage to the rear and the RA6* stuff did not fit.

Yes it is the car, He only just picked it up from us as was on the way home to toowoomba then taking the car to warwick to put it on show, It was involved in the accident on 08-08-08, Did you see my post here:

Well the MA61 of peters is wider than the RA6* if it wasnt dont you think that they would of used the ra65 i had for body cuts and the rear hatch?

that car has a history of crash's from what ive been told and because it was homolgated for racing replacing the shell wasnt an option.. im thinking its been fixed that many times that ra60/65 wont fit simply since the car's not the orginal shape :P or the fact it came from britan might have something to do with it???

Yeah you cant reshell anything like that, All the bodywork was done at my bosses mates workshop, The engine was built at work, Did he get the door off you after the car was damaged on the trailer, If you ever look at the car you can see how much work has gone into making it straight again (the roof inparticular), The last i heard it was getting sent down south to be repaired.

I have a RA65 coupe and it owned my KE70s IMO. But I did only have a 4k etc.

I've always thought they were pretty ugly as well (give me an MA61 any day), but most of those look at least nice-ish. The tail lights are pretty bad, but the front lights are what ruins the look for me. Awful.

gotta remember too that your so invovled in the scene that you just get to know of everyone in existance, there arent that many around really, like on the sunny coast besides biggo there is one more friend of mine with ke70 with a 12a turbo and all the others are stockos doing their thing, it might be a bit different where you are from, but you gotta remember, you dont own a car to be an individual, you show your individualism in the way you own it, what you do with it, how you drive it what it means to you. Like if you wanted to be individual you could buy like a fiat x19 or something.

But each to their own, I do personally think there are a few people out there that give ke70s a bad name, but there are for every car.

If i had a sa62 or ra6 id try get a jap carina gt from end onto it. make a jgtc style wide body on it with the gaps behind the wheels. 3s of course

i know of a carina GT in perth, coupe. its white and was a personal import and is owned by an old guy who has a good taste for old school toyota motoring.
sits in a garage and never gets driven though which is a pity. did ask at one point if he would sell but his 'collection' doesnt look like it will be splitting up anytime soon.

it would even be pretty cool to fab up an adm keto front en on, using the celica bonnet and guards modified to mix both up, and make your own grill by getting two ke70 grills and cutting the last foot or so off the ends of one and getting them onto the ends of a complete one with some little strips of alloy or something, make a hell wide staunch looking keto front end.
