removing shocks

Bit of a noob question how do i take out my shocks from my struts?

i cant grip the shock so i cant undo the bolt

any help appreciated

rattle gun works best, but if you dont have one, use a G clamp with two pieces of wood either side of the top of the strut and do that up nice and tight to stop if from spinning and you should be able to get it.
thats how i got mine.

done and done, rattle gun did the trick i dnt know why i didnt try that in the first place haha
