4age converstion

hey guys i know someone with a ae71 wagon that has the convo parts for ke70 rwd 4age setup i.e.
clutch master,slave and lines
5 speed box
pedal box
4a crossmember
gearbox crossmember
but no driveshaft

and the wreckers wants 600 for the convo parts.
i want to know is that price worth it or not?

sounds around right, i sold exactly that with tailshaft for 600, mine came with a fresh as exedy h/d clutch.
offer him 500

dudes sell everything minus gearbox for like 700 so 600 with a box sounds pretty good...

the gearbox by itself now is realistically worth $300. so as unrealistic as all those prices sound, theyre not that stupid..

i paid $200 for everything but the gearbox i got my t50 in really god nic for $180

agreed, it is out there for cheaper, if you wait, and are lucky/really know how to hunt this stuff up. but paying up to a maximum of $600 is not stupid. if youre trying to build a car, and you need the parts to get it done.

the reality is there are many many less ae71s out there, than ke70s. obviously the wrecked/imported ae86 t50s account for some of the discrepancy. having said that, they break a lot too though. but the pedal box is definitely a rare part.

i plan to do something about that though (the clutch pedal). total cost will end up being similar to prices being discussed already, but its only going to get worse.
