Hey guys, just got a query. I bought some PS arms for my corolla, and they are almost indenticle to my ae86 non ps arms. The only difference i can measure is a 5mm difference from the tie rod hole to the conrol arm hole. The PS arms are marked R9 and L2 if it helps. Mainly hoping for a picture comparing the two? any help aprreciated. jake

I remeasured the 2 pairs of arms and could only find a 10mm difference at tops. On my power steering arms, i measured about 125mm from tierod hole to the bushing. and on my other arms i got 135mm. That is centre to centre from both holes. Here is some pics of the power steering arms. Sound about right for power steering arms?

AE86 stock steering knuckles are 134mm.
AE86 power steering knuckles are 115mm.
XT130 corona are nterchangeable but are 137mm.

I think someone has sold you some arms from a different vehicle. Perhaps Celica or Corona of some description, but it they do not measure 115mm approx centre to centre, they cannot be power steering arms.

The writing on them means very little. Its more likely just for the benefit of those who actually made them to help sort them or something, or to tell which mould they were cast into etc.

Measure the distance between the two holes with the dowel. Do they fit an AE86 strut?

the lower mount spacing is 85mm for 86 etc.

Does anyone have a P/N for both the ps arms and the non ps?
Thanks
