as i have used the template now i can explain i was on a spirited drive and noticed that when hitting limiter it started to miss more and more pulled out the plugs and i think they are screwed ill put some pics up later i have also changed my fuel pump with a walbro and new filter so its not that issue i have also tested the leads there sweet fa resistance now what i really want to know what plugs do you use and what mods have you got on your motor
as for me i run a 4age 16v with cams and an ecu cam specs are 265 in and out limiter is set at 7800rpm what plugs should i use i will need part numbers and where to get em from cheers all

what was the color of the spark plugs when you pulled them out, are they really black or white powder, need to find out if the car is running to rich or lean inorder to work out if you need a hotter or colder plug

They are due for a change but they look like things are working fine (maybe a little too fine)

i was kicking my old fuel filter around last night and for some reason decided to empty it on my hand the fuel was full or rust when it came out of the "in" side and when it came out of the "out" side there was no rust grains but fuel was still a rust color
in turn would my injectors be polluted? would injector cleaner go a stray? and wtf plugs should i be using repco are hopless
cheers

At work so cant see the pictures but here are some part numbers for NGK and bosch
Bosch
p3-4 for platium
f1-4 for ultra platium
NGK
BCPR5EP-11 normal
BCPR5EIX-11 Iridium
When I change my last ime i tried out the p3-4 bosch ones and they have been pretty good so far, when I change my oil soon ive got to pull them out to see how the are
Also with the fuel I would run some injecter clearner through the system just to see how it feels after woods, its always good to do it every couple of months / few oil changes

There is a small chance the new fuel pump could have altered the fuel pressure, and changed the tune. Not sure of this.
The plugs look like they are irridiums, which should last a very long time. But irridium plugs are sensitive to over rich mixtures. If you run turbo (typically richer mixtures) or bounce off the limiter heaps, then try regular copper plugs and it may go better.
Or just clean the plugs and see if that helps.

id say thats a good chance.
what size walbro pump is it? if its flows to much and the fuel pressure regulator cant handle it (i assume your using the standard one) then your pressure will be too high, causing the engine to run rich all the time, and possibly not helping spark plugs.
i reckon you should give those plugs a good go with a wire brush, and put them back in and see how it goes.
