who has had any expericnce with a slipping auto gearbox? what have you done to fix it?

my gear box is screwd on my 3au ae70 and cant seem to find a new one and ive heard of people putting some thick liquid in (cant remember what it was)

Try changing the fluid, it may help but probably not.

Start looking for an auto from a TA22 celica, that's about the only hope you have apart from getting it reco'd.

Or just man up and convert the car to the correct amount of pedals.

apprentice wages suck!!!! n yeah as javal said try changing the fluids probz the cheapest option, n juz cross ur fingers n hope it makes it better ha

its pretty f'ing bad for 10 mins you cant go any faster than 10km/h then another 20 mins to get 3rd at 45kms

hhhhmmm the box only slips when its cold
so im thinking that the filters are stuffed. because when the oil is cold and the filters restrict flow. and when the oil is hot and thin the oil can flow through filters easier

now where the hell an i going to find a 3a auto filter?

check the fluid yo
