20v silver/black top questions.

hey guys,

quick question, did all the 20v siltop models come with itb's?

also is there any parts from the blacktop that i can bolt up into the silvertop to get a bit more poke.
because from memory ST comp was 10:1 and BT was 11:1? correct me if im wrong..

yes all had the throttles.

The only thing thats superior on the blacktop for most of us is the head. Sure the throttles are bigger but you don't need it. No power to be had by running them over the ST ones.

The higher CR is from the pistons, just fit a 0.8mm head gasket and then you will have the same CR.

What trumpets/intake + exhaust + ECU are you running

Just wanted to know as im looking at buying a ST.
also, is there ANYWAY i can run open itbs (no air box, trumpets and socsk/filters) on standard computer? even tho its AFM where BT is MAP?

how do you intend to meter the airflow of an open airbox?

sorry but no you cant run open trumpets on a stock ST20v computer, you need an aftermarket ecu for that.

actually you can if you have a blacktop but that still won't get past the ignition issue. I highly suggest you run an aftermarket ECU and get of the stock pile of crap.
