I was reading in a build log that some people feel that 5th is weak on a w58.
I'm planning on swapping to a w58 b/c the T-50 is weak. How bad is the w58? I don't ever see myself sliding in 5th gear...

I have never heard such a thing. W58's are great, and you will never really use 5th (especially being an over-drive gear). I could hardly use it on the highway with 3.9's unless i was doing over 130.

you think a 4a cant break a w58 dave! exactly, you wont be thrashing the thing in 5th gear and will barely have ne load on it in 5th too

I wouldn't worry about a weak fifth gear unless your clutch kicking at 230km/h

Shit all. 2000-something, it would labour unless you were driving slightly down a hill (even in a 110 zone).
