Jap 4age loom question, missing plugs?

i installed a 4age that came out of a ae92 and has been converted to suit a rwd anyway it came with a loom but was completely hacked so i went and bought a original RWD 4age loom that came out of a sprinter, just put the loom in before and it looks i am missing these plugs i have listed below

- Alternator plugs
- Black plug that goes onto the intake manifold which leads to the fuel rail (not sure what that is called)
- Maybe the starter motor plugs but i will check that out tomorrow

thats all i have noticed for the time being, does anyone have any idea?

well for the starter motor and alternator your best off putting in some new wires anyway. especailly the main positives to both (so you get decent cranking, and so you get decent charging).

your alternator has 3? wires i think. a wire that goes to your alternator light, the main positive, and a wire that goes to positive (sense wire), you should be able to use some of the original wiring for this, just hack off the 4ac alternator plug and go nuts with the multimeter. similarly for the starter motor, put a new chunky positive wire straight to battery, and find the original solenoid trigger wire, and run this through a relay from the batter. these old cars tend to have dodgy contacts around and quite often you can have troubles with with the starter motor not working properly.

and as for the "black plug" not sure what your talking about there sorry.

and somewhere there is a write up on adding a relay to that starter trigger wire. if your not sure send me a pm perhaps and i can explain it, though maybe not till tomorrow night or so.

The alternator wiring is on a different loom to the engine. The starter solenoid wire (black with white line) comes out of the engine loom. The black plug is for the cold start injector which is similar if not the same as the main injector plugs.
