4AC miss fire???

i just changed the sparkies because it was missing.
and now its running a lot better. but when i rev it over 2500RPM it starts
missing hectic again!?...brrrraaaaaah sounds like a semi-automatic!

could it be the leads? or something worse?

Sounds like regular maintanance problems not specific to the AE86. To fix all these problems would once have been called a "tune-up", an art now lost unless you read a book.

Ask the same question on American forums, the answer will be "get an ignition". By this they mean a huge MSD box. (Who would have thought the transister could make things larger?)

i just got told by a mate today that cleaning up dizzy will
give the ignition a bit more life.
