86 fibreglass doors - who sells them in aus

problem - more than love tapped a pole with my left door

occurs/started when - when the pole hit my car

personal situation - want to replace my doors with fibreglass or carbon fibre ones.

pretty simple - who sells carbon fibre.firbreglass ae86 parts in australia?

no1 sell thems in aus,much like replacement frp body for anything...have to import them...

not a smart move in my opinion tho...

You wouldnt want to run carbon or FRP doors without a cage with side instrusion bars...

ive gota full cage and am getting bolt in intrusion bars so thats not a problem.
anyone from NZ do them?

Origin do make them, so maybe try an origin dealer or try and bring them in through streeter, also there's MCNSPORT.com, and a few other companies in j-land that make em.

You wouldnt want to run carbon or FRP doors without a cage with side instrusion bars...

also add to it that they are quite flimsy, unlikely to fit well, prone to cracking being a regularly moved part of the exterior and 99.9% of them dont allow you to run a window mechanism...definately not fun for a street car...

the loss of weight doesnt make up for the luxuries unless its a full blown racecar which im doubting this is...

the origin ones run a stock skeleton, so you can run full windows.

I can see the point about strength... I know with my sprinter it needs more than a gentle push to shut the doors haha.

Yup I know a guy in NZ that does them in fibreglass, does all panels actually, I have front guards, bonnet and hatch so far from him. :)

mike shaw fibreglass...highly reccomend his work...bought 3 hatches from him earlier in the year :)
