Ae86 Kframe into KE70

hey guys im doing a 4agze conversion into my ke70 but i cant get the steering rack brackets to match up with the holes as the rack is thicker then the ae86 one im guessing... ne quick fixes?

racks are same OD i think - have u upgraded the rack bushes to nolthane or new bushes... i used new longer bolts.. sorted

ae86 and ke70 engine x memebers are different and so are the brackets that secure the rack to them, the brackets are not interchangable.
