View Full Version : timing belt and tensioners in bt 20v???

hi guys im looking up part numbers to do a timing belt and tensioner in my ae86 i have a bt 20v in it, my problem being every time i look up a part number for the ae111 its refering the motor as a 4afe not a 4age, im i reading wrong or did they also come out with this motor???
bottom line just want to change my timing belt tensioner and water pump all at once so i know peice of mind its done thanks guys

thats an awsome site but how do i convert those numbers to bosch or gates ect ??

Just did this myself over xmas, I used genuine belt, tensioner, idler and water pump, toyota had it all in stock and was suprisingly cheap

just go genuine, i paid $50 for my 16v belt.

I dont think there is an aftermarket belt for bt20v. Genuine belts are the same price anyway.
