fairly straight forward question for you tech heads,

anyone come across caliper bolts from other cars that fit ae86 calipers?

this is the bolts that go through the caliper and bolt it to the backing plate.

my calipers didnt come with bolts for them.

i had a quick look at a few cars last time i was at the wreckers but didnt have much luck.

i know i can prolly just get some bolts from the local bolt shop, but i like the factory bolts. and the ones at the bolt shop always have weird sized heads on them

Just ask for JIC bolts from the bolt shop. You want the Japanese industry standard not the European standard.

Other than that, I'd imagine like most things Toyota, there would be an interchangable bolt from another similar model car. Maybe just use a thread gauge to see what pitch thread the AE86 one has, then hit up your nearest wrecker with a rule and try find a caliper bolt of the same length you need etc.

What about getting new genuine ones? I had to get a new timing belt tensioner pulley bolt from Toyota and it was only like $2, so I can't see the ones you need being much more than that.

Worth a shot
