AE86 springs into xE7x

Hey, ive got ae86 struts, and springs to go into my ae71. Im also planning to use t3 camber plates. What i want to know is, what will i need to go btw the top of the spring and the camber plate (i dont know what this is called... top hat??). Will the original one be big enough for the ae86 spring, or will i need 86 top hats to be able to run the 86 spring??

from what i can remember the ae71 and ae86 springs are the same size if there not there not far off
because i had ae86 springs in my ke70 struts before i went coil overs.
so yer the top hat from your ae71 struts should be fine to use with the t3 camber top/plate

Sweet as, thanks a lot man. Didnt want to get to the point where everything was out and find that i needed to get new tops. I might take a spring out to a wrecker and test fit it anyway, but if i dont get a chance then i will just roll with it and hope for the best!
