im just thinking would the rb20 be a straight fit into the 86 bay?

of all engines.. why the rb20 if i may ask?
u should be able to.. even if it means some panel beating.

yeah that would make it an absolute pig with so much weight over the front wheels, unless you mod the firewall right back, but still, if you want nissan power in an 86 sr would be a lot better. not a horrible price... someone will buy it soon

yea i agree with DrifTE72...
if u really want nissan power.. SR20det should suffice.
but frm the direction i think u are goin.. i'd rather opt for 13b or 20b if u are power hungry. but i wont do it. i like it NA... like a beams 3sge or f20c.
anyways..those would cost too much. way too much for me to afford in the near future.
do let me know if u are interested in getting the car though. its a mint sample for a conversion..

nah well atm i got an r32
sitting in my garage which im thinking of selling, or pulling apart
thats why i was thinking if i was to go for a ae86 i could get some quick power out of it by just throwing in the rb20 out of my 32, with its current setup.

chris2far: the rb20 should be able to fit in with a little panel beating. and it will give u a very good power to weight ratio in the ae86. only downside is its gonna be front heavy...
Barrrp86: im currently away. i'll be back soon. pm sent.
