4ac rear housing is the same but you will still need a bottom outlet (the little outlet which holds thermostat in). A fwd ae82 thermostat outlet (one of the 1/2's of the remote thermostat) can be used as it points in the right direction. A regular 4ac one points down into where the alternator goes.
