ae86 / #e7# engine conversion legallities

just wondering if anyone has the actuall tare weight that the
ae86 and #e7# vehicles are measured of to get the legal size of what motor can go in?

basically want to know what weight to multiply the 2.75 (turbo) or 4 (na) to reach
largest engine capacity
ie a 1000kg can run a 4l or 2.7 turbo
these numbers are from the vehicle standards bulletin on the aussie gov infrastructure webpage.
also does any one know if this is relevent in queenland?

On rego paper, late model KE70 4 speed is 880, AE71 manual is 920, AE86 is 960(not sure on this).

960 is correct if it never had air-con or the electric sunroof
